Craig,
I know your Mom and Dad down here in Dana Point. Wonderful people! Their tough, so I know you are too! These doctors today can truly do miracles. Have faith in them and yourself! I have a feeling you’ll be just fine. My prayers are with you and all your loved ones.
I do not know you but I heard about you on the internet. Stay strong and positive! Those are the key elements in fighiting this disease. Hope everything turns out for the best! You are prayed for!
LIVE STRONG!
Craig and Kat,
I am a friend of Sara’s and now a friend to you both. My name is Marla and I as well has my husband are cancer SURVIVORS! I had Hodgkin’s when I was 16 and was on treatment for 1 year. My husband had Leukemia A.L.L. when he was 5 and was on treatment for 6 years. Together we have been in remission a total of 47 years…17 for me and 30 for him! Sara has been keeping me posted on your progress and I have been sending well wish your way. All I can say is that treatments have changed drastically since my husband and I were diagnosed. Most treatments for male Leukemia patients last 3 years these days instead of the 6 my husband endeared. Just listen to your body it will tell you everything, take it slow and NEVER be afraid to talk to or question your Doctor….he works for you! Take advantage of the services that are out there for you. They will lead you to some of the most amazing people, that is how I found my husband, second family, my best friend and now you both! My thoughts are with you both!
Godspeed,
Marla
