Craig's story was featured on MTV's True Life: I Need A Transplant. Thousands of patients with leukemia and other life-threatening diseases need life-saving bone marrow transplants, but more than 70% don't have a match in their family. Please consider becoming a registered donor to help someone like Craig!
Bone marrow donors are desperately needed nationwide. Please consider becoming a registered bone marrow donor. You can read more at the FAQ on the National Marrow Donor Program's website.
Craig's treatments are more than insurance will pay. Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo to the Craig Brandmeier Fund. You can also send support though PayPal.

Thank you Craig
.. he has definitely made his mark and he and his work will never be forgotten. He has touched so many lives all over the world and brought such awareness to AML and marrow donation. We are so glad that the entire family made it there to be with him, May god bless you and hold you all in the palm of his hand. Gary and Kelly
God speed my friend. May the angels carry you in with golden wings. We love u Brandmeier family. bless you all for making such an impact on this world.
Craig-I was only able to ‘meet’ you just recently after reading your story in the O.C. Register and it was then that I, along with my two children tuned into your nightly web-cams….from the very moment we saw your face and listened to your voice….we were hooked. We looked forward every night to being able to ‘talk’ to you and have you entertain us with your most amazing personality. You are and will always be our inspiration and we will never, ever forget the times we spent with you online like that. We feel like we know you personally and we are going to miss you so very much. God has a beautiful place all ready for you in Heaven and it will be glorious beyond belief. Thank you, sweet,kind-hearted, precious Craig for touching a family so much and so deeply, a family whom you have never even met. We truly Love you so much, Craig and you will ALWAYS be in our hearts now and forever. Thank you for all that you have left us with. Love and Prayers to Kat and the entire Brandmeier Family.

Fly
Fly, fly little wing
Fly beyond imagining
The softest cloud the whitest dove
Upon the wind of Heaven’s love
Past the planets and the stars
Leave this lonely world of ours
Escape the sorrow and the pain
And fly again
Fly, fly precious one
Your endless journey has begun
Take your gentle happiness
Far too beautiful for this
Cross over to the other shore
There is peace forevermore
But old this mem’ry bittersweet
Until we meet
Fly, fly do not fear
Don’t waste a breath don’t shed a tear
Your heart is pure, your soul is free
Be on your way don’t wait for me
Above the universe you’ll climb
On beyond the hands of time
The moon will rise the sun will set
But I won’t forget
Fly, fly little wing
Fly where only angels sing
Fly away, the time is right
Go now, find the light
Go forth, Christian soul, from this world
in the name of God the almighty Father, who created you,
in the name of Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, who suffered for you,
in the name of the Holy Spirit, who was poured out upon you,
May you live in peace this day,
may your home be with God in Zion,
with Mary, the virgin Mother of God,
with Joseph and all the angels and saints.
May God bless you all.
I’m praying for your family during this tough time. RIP Craig. You’re so brave for fighting this as long as you did and I’m proud to have known you.
Love,
Grant Entsminger
Thinking of you and your family always! You are so brave.
To Craig’s Family: Here is a poem that helped me when my mother died.
A ship sails and I stand watching till she fades on the horizon
And someone at my side says, “She is gone”.
Gone where? Gone from my sight, that is all;
She is just as large as when I saw her.
The diminished size and total loss of sight Is in me, not in her,
And just at the moment when someone at my side says “She is gone”
There are others who are watching her coming,
And other voices take up a glad shout “There she comes!”
And that is dying.

Positive thoughts and prayers always. We received our shirts yesterday and they are awesome!!! We will be so proud wearing them and it will also help spread the word. If there is anything we can do, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Stay strong.
Craig and Kat,
You don’t know me and never will, but I wanted to let you both know what remarkable people you are. Enjoy life, love with reckless abandon, and always remember that you are not alone.

Please know that I pray for you daily and think of your battle often. Be strong.
…both you and Craig have been so strong and loving during this entire journey. We are so proud of you both. I know you have hospice care and Gary helping you, but if you need me to drop everything and come up to help out with anything at all, please don’t hesitate to call me. Love always and always…Mom
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Craig & Kat and the entire family. I know Judy from the Women’s Club. The power of prayer is an awesome thing…and strongly believe it helped my Mom go back into remission from her AML. She was diagnosed in May 2007 just after her 80th birthday. She is now on maintenance chemo but is still fighting and believing!! God bless all of you!!
Kat -
Hang in there. Praying for you guys.
Best,
Jon
Thinking and praying of you guys <3 You are always in my heart!
I am thinking of all of you and hope you find comfort through hospice. It really is a great resource. Craig, you are amazing.

Kat and Craig,
I saw Craigs story on True Life and immediately felt a connection and deep sympathy for what you all are going through. My Aunt Donna was diagnosed with cancer almost 2 years ago. The doctors had actually never seen anything like her cancer. She went from hospital to hospital and eventually flew around to specialist all over the country. None of them were quite sure what to make of her disease. So they treated it like most other cancers with chemo and radiation. A few months after her treatment had ended, the cancer was slowy shrinking. A year and a half later my Aunt Donna is cancer free! All I can think is it was a miracle. Miracles can happen, I strongly believe that. You all seem like very good people and a very strong and beautiful family, my thoughts and prayers are with you, in hoping for the greatest of miracles.
Love to you both. Hospice sounds like such a good idea.
I hope you have some peace from pain,Craig, and I wish I trade places with you. i am 75 and life has been good.
prayers and strength.
Kat and Craig,
I am thinking of you both. I’m hoping for some pain free time for you both to be together. I’m also hoping for Craig’s breathing to become easier so that you two can again enjoy your time together. Hospice is a wonderful resource, so glad you are taking advantage of it. It’s like having your own team of nurses just for you and at your beck and call.
Peace,
Kathleen.
I am a Hodjkins Non-Lymphomia survivor. I went through two rounds of chemo and three months of radiation. I relapsed once and then had one more round of chemo, two months of radiation and a bone marrow transplant. You just have to keep your faith and stay strong.
