I was so happy to hear from you and read your update. I know that Craig will be stronger each day now, and looking forward to the big day in September. I can’t wait to see the show, keep us updated on when it will air. Of course, you know you’re already a star in our eyes. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
Just wanted you to know I will be honoring Craig at the my drives this weekend. I am partnering with the Hurley US Open Surfing Championship in Huntington Beach. Be The Match will be there alongside Living The Dream Foundation and CHOC. The drive is from 8-4pm July 23rd-July 26th. Keeping Craig in my prayers and sharing his story and journey at my drives. Hope things are getting better.

Dearest Kat & Craig, I rec’d your TY card today & was touched that with all you are going thru that you took the time to write. You don’t need to. Hi Kat and Craig, sorry about this MRSA thing ! but you are not alone, my prayers for you never been stopped. The surgery will be fine, and he will feel much better when antibiotic fights for him too. I know its a difficult journey, but you will get through all this.

Hey Craig and Kat! I finally found your site and got to catch up on everything that’s happening with you. Loved your wedding pictures, and you both look soooo happy. That day has been 43 years ago for us. I know you’re disappointed about waiting for the transplant but it’ll be here before you know and then– yahoo! On the way to living life cancer free! David went for his 5th start of 5 days of Vidaza. Hopefully, they’ll be able to become farther apart with time and lower cancer counts. Still no news of a match, but maybe that’s o.k. We’ll take it as it comes and put our faith in God and Doctor K (Kovacsovics) Best of luck and you and your family will be in our prayers. We’ll be looking forward to your messages, keep them coming.

I just read about you in the Orange Co. Register and had chivers running down my back.
Our family just very recently went thru the identical ordeal. Our daughter had been diagnosed with AML and was treated at M.D.Anderson in Houston. Her brother who was a 50% match flew in from Austria to donate the bone marrow.
Have you considered a cord blood transplant?
We shall remember you in our prayers and wish for success. Keep up your good spirits and think very positive. Having your family with you will be a great comfort.

My husband Rick and I were lucky to attend the drive last week and visit with your brothers and friends we knew. I had dinner with your sis inlaw Michele and friend Kristen Johnson last night along with a few other friends who were also able to join the registry that day. We all said how amazing your sweet family is and how wonderful it was to see such a great turn out. I’m sure you’re already aware, but there’s a world of people who love and care for you and are praying for you daily. I know you will beat this!!!!!
The Dana Point Donor Drive. WOW what a success. We signed up 210 people today. People showed up that have been a part of the Brandmeier’s lifes for years and people showed up that we didn’t even know. It was WONDERFUL. We thank you all and please keep praying for Craig and Kat, there is still a long road ahead but with all the love and support THEY WILL BEAT THIS. We are so very lucky to have the family and friends that we have. Take Care
